BLOGMAS DAY TWO: Bookish Gift Ideas

This is for all of those people out there who are floundering on what to get for your beloved bookworms this year. These are a few ideas and shops to check out if you need a little inspiration. The handles listed are for their Instagram pages, but the clickable links will take you to their shop website. I hope this helps, and you find something for you favorite bookworm this winter!

1. Books Sleeves

These are great because they help protect our precious book from damage when we’re on the go. I absolutely love all of mine, and most of the bookish people I know either want one or want another one.

Where to Buy:

I mean, this one is self-explanatory. Current day bookmarks are great because they are like a little piece of portable art that’s useful as well! Also, I don’t know about you, but I usually won’t splurge on buying myself bookmarks, because 1. I’m kind of cheap (lol), and 2. I also have a tendency to use whatever I find laying around; i.e. receipts, gift cards, fabric, etc.

Where to Buy:

3. Mug Rugs

These are something I’ve only just started hearing about in the last couple of months. Mug Rugs function like a coaster, but they’re made from fabric and padding. They come in a lot of cute designs and styles. Shop around if you’re going to buy one of these because each store has their own unique twist.

Where to Buy:

4. Enamel Pins

Ahh! These are glorious. I fricken love enamel pins. There’s so many different styles and themes for pins. I’m partial to witchy themes pins, but bookish pins have become super popular in the last year or so. You really can go wrong with an adorable AF enamel pin.

Where to Buy:

5. Bookish Candles

I mean, who doesn’t love candles? And what book lover doesn’t want something that smells like their favorite book? It’s a win-win-win situation. Fandom candles are glorious and very, very popular right now.

Where to Buy:

6. Monthly Subscription Boxes

I have always wanted one of these, alas money is always in short supply around her. Also, I just feel like spending $40 on an unknown book and merchandise is a little risky. But as a gift? I would absolutely love this. A surprise mystery box subscription? The ultimate gift (in my opinion).

Where to Buy:

7. Miscellaneous Bookish Merchandise

Okay, this last category is a little bit of a hodge-podge, but still totally bookish! It includes bookish stickers, artwork, and usable merchandise. Bookishness in all its forms is great. Any bookworm, me included, would love a gift with their favorite fandom/book/character on it.

Where to Buy:

Happy holidays!

xoxo, Bree
