BOOK TAG: The 5 W’s Book Tag

I found this book tag on Sophie’s Corner, but it initially comes from Shyla over at Words & Stitches . So, I’m relatively new to book tags, but I find them really fun. Therefore I’m trying to do more of them. (Hopefully you like them too.) This is the 5 W’s tag.

1 – Who? | Who is an author you’d love to have a one-on-one with?

Ooh. This is a tough one, but I’d have to say Jennifer Niven. When I met her, I really enjoyed talking to her. She is absolutely the sweetest person and she is a huge fan of Supernatural too! I feel like we’d would have a really deep conversation about the show. I mean, we’re both Sam girls after all.

2 – What? | What genre/style do you most often gravitate to?

Honestly? I read A LOT of contemporary. I swear don’t I mean to. I try super hard to keep a balanced book diet, but contemporary is just so easy to read. I’ve also gotten very into contemporary romance recently. It’s  way too bingable.

3 – Where? | Where do you prefer to read?

I really like reading in my giant bean bag chair. It’s honestly one of my favorite purchases ever. But in a pinch any soft, cushy surface will do.

4 – When? | What time of day do you prefer to read?

I’d read 24/7 if I could, but I don’t really have a favorite time of day. It’s more of  a ‘I read whenever I get the opportunity to sneak in a few pages’ situation.

5 – Why? | Why is your favorite book your favorite book?

I can’t say I really have a favorite book, but I do have a favorite series. It’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians, of course. I must have read it right as the series finished because it was the first series where I remember reading all the books back-to-back on the 1st time (honestly still the best way to read a series). But that leaves an imprint on a person, especially if that person has a fascination with snark and mythology.

Bonus!
How? | How do you go about selecting what book you’ll read next?

Uhh. I mean, I make TBRs all the time, but I have a really hard time following any of them. Usually I go about selecting my next read based on my mood, and because of this I now make general TBRs where my next book just has to be one of the ones on the list.

  1. Hello Bree!
Glad that you did this tag! I absolutely agree that YA contemporary novels are the most bingeable reads haha. I loved Simon vs the Homosapiens Agenda and Always Never Yours is a book that I’ll have to read one day 🙂 I’ve heard lots of good things about Rick Riordan so I do want to try one of his books some day too.
