BOOK HAUL: Spring Book Haul

AKA THE OPPOSITE TO SPRING CLEANING!! AKA TREE SHOULD GO ON A BOOK BUYING BAN!!

I’ve accumulated a fair amount of books recently (Also, hi this is Tree) and wanted to share them with you all!

I should have just used cover photos from the internet, but instead basically took bookstagram photos for almost all of them. I hard core regretted this when I had to edit/import them all!

What books have you hauled recently?

Just One by Gayle Forman
I bought this from someone on Twitter who was unhauling a bunch of books. I love this series so much and needed this edition for my collection. This bind up includes Just One Day, Just One Year, and the Just One Night novella which I did not have in print.

Three Little Words by Jenny Holiday
I bought this at the Ripped Bodice’s tent at the LA Times Festival of Books. I love supporting this store and plus we spent 20+ minutes in their tent petting their dog so it seemed fair. I loved this romance and am glad I picked up a copy. Check out my review: here. I’m laughing how my over editing of this photo makes the characters look way too tan.

War Brides by Lois Battle
I picked this up in a ‘take a book, leave a book’ thing at a local coffee shop. I know nothing about this one. I even forgot to take a photo of this one!! Love that!!

If I am Being Honest by Emily Wibberly & Austin Siegemund-Broka
I preordered this one from Amazon. Ever since I read their debut Always Never Yours, I have been waiting for this duo’s sophomore novel. I really enjoyed this one and want them to write a bunch more contemporaries. This is our June book of the month so stay tuned for a joint review.

Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen
I picked this up at my local library’s Friends of the Library bookstore. I do already have a paperback copy of this one, but this was a signed hardcover and it was only 50 cents. I could not resist adding this to my collection.

The next batch is all the Yallwest ARCs I got: See this Yallwest post for our thoughts on this years event!

The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys
I was so happy to find this at the Penguin Teen booth. I had no idea this ARC was going to be there and basically couldn’t stop fangirling about Ruta with one of the Penguin Teen people. She writes some beautiful and heartbreaking historical fiction novels.

As Many Nows As I Can Get by Shana Youngdahl
Because I am subscribed to the Penguin Teen newsletter; I got to pick an ARC from their upcoming titles. I have no idea what this one is about, but it sounds good! I basically just was like, “IS THIS CONTEMPOARY? OKAY? I’LL TAKE”

Wilder Girls by Rory Power & House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin Craig
We were lucky enough to get tickets from the Get Underlined booth to meet the authors of these books and get their ARCs. I am hyped to read Wilder Girls after Bree keeps raving about it. House of Salt and Sorrows sounds so good too! Both of these authors were super sweet too.

The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen
Thanks again to Epic Reads! Even though some of Sarah Dessen’s newer titles have let me down, I am still excited to read her newest. EDIT: I just finished this one and I enjoyed it. I will post about it in my next mini review post.

A Match Made in Mehendi by Nandini Bajpai
Picked this up a the NOVL booth right before we left Yallwest. I don’t know anything about this one, but it sounds cute. I am a little worried because the narrator is 15, which is a little young for me. But, we’ll see.

Okay, we are back to non-Yallwest books!

Again, but Better by Christine Riccio
I preordered this one from Amazon when I finished the eARC. I had such a fun time reading this one. I love Christine and her humor. Her personality was jumping off the page. I enjoyed the ARC enough that I wanted my own copy and to support Christine. Check out my review here!

A Perilous Undertaking by Deanna Raybourn
I got a Barnes and Noble gift card and used it on this one. I really enjoyed the first book in the series and due to a series of events, was not able to get it from the library, so I ended up buying it lol. I have read it since purchasing it and enjoyed it. I liked the first one more, but I am excited to continue with the series.

Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
I preordered this one from Amazon as well. I figured I would like this one based on all the hype, but once Whitney from Whitty Novels on YouTube reviewed it, I knew I needed it. I loved this one so much. Bree reviewed it and here is her review if you’re interested.

    1. I feel that with book buying bans! I have to be super dramatic about them and tell everyone to help keep me in check lol! And THANK YOU!! Taking the photos wasn’t the problem, but I was so tired of editing them by the end. THANK YOU FOR APPRECIATING MY EFFORTS!

      xoxo, TREE
