I saw Jordan @ Heart of a Book Blogger do this tag and since TS 7 AKA LOVER is coming this week (when I post this the album will be out omg) I had to do it myself. Honestly liking Taylor Swift is half of my personality at this point.

TEARDROPS ON MY GUITAR: Book that always makes you cry

I typically don’t cry when rereading books. If I am expecting to cry, I usually don’t. But, even though I knew people had been crying during the epilogue, I cried a lot finishing The Best Thing by Mariana Zapata. Tears were flowing down my face.

STAY BEAUTIFUL: Book with the prettiest cover

I am obsessed with so many covers, but at the moment I am still not over the Chain of Gold cover. For a book that is already out, I am still a sucker for the Caraval cover.

LOVE STORY: Favorite romance/couple

My favorite Taylor song! Also, can we please talk about how this scene is basically a copy of the ball from the 2005 Pride & Prejudice movie?? My poor self cannot take it. Okay. Back to the question. My OG ship is Mia and Michael from the Princess Diaries. Thirteen-year-old me was basically passing out during Forever Princess. Michael’s text “I’M NOT SORRY AND I’LL WAIT” is burned into my mind. Gets me every time. (Even though looking back it’s a tad problematic )

FIFTEEN: Favorite coming-of-age story

So remember when you learned about what a building roman story was? Just me lol? Well it is basically a coming of age story and one of my high school English teacher used To Kill a Mockingbird as an example for this type of story and now that is just automatically what my brain goes to.

BACK TO DECEMBER: Biggest bookish regret

I wish I read the Percy Jackson series when I was younger.

NEVER GROW UP: Favorite childhood book

I really enjoyed the Dear America series.

RED: Favorite book with a red cover

Dead Presidents by Brady Carlson. Dang I love this cover. The book is pretty hilarious too.

WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER: Book you really wanted to love but couldn’t

Vengeful by V.E. Schwab. Vicious is probably going to be on my top books of the year, but I just could not get into Vengeful. I talk about it a bit more in my most recent mini reviews, which you can check out here if you want to.

BAD BLOOD: Book featuring enemies to lovers

Since we have not talked about my faves Ivan Lukov and Jasmine Santos for a hot second…From Lukov with Love. My favorite hate to love romance and tbh probably my favorite romance too. Check out my love letter to review here.

SHAKE IT OFF: Book you couldn’t let go of

Daisy Jones & The Six. I scream about this book on a weekly basis and have recommend it to literally anyone who asks for book recs. In case you have not noticed.

I DID SOMETHING BAD: Bookish confession

I sometimes read reallllly fast and if I get bored…I will start to…skim.

GETAWAY CAR: Book/series you abandoned

The Red Queen series. I liked book one but did not care about book two (while I was reading) so decided to just stop. There are so many other books I want to read, that it needed to happen.

To be honest, I reread my favorites.
