BOOK TAG: The Hamilton Book Tag

So I started writing up my answers to this post so long ago that I forgot whose blog I saw this on. Apparently it was created by Maureen Keavy on YouTube and honestly, I think I watched a couple of those videos when the tag was first going around. But, it is time to revisit it and actually participate! I love Hamilton the Musical so much and think Lin-Manuel Miranda is a genius. I have yet to see the musical, but I hope to one day.

Sorry there are not photos or gifs in this post! I have a cold and am too tired to add them. Especially since I still have to write a seven page paper with this cold. Blog has to take the back burner!

Okay I am going to cheat. Sidebar: I honestly cheat in half of these book tags because I can’t think of an answer. Anyways, I am going to use a TV show. I finished Fleabag Season Two a week before I am writing this and like…if you know, you know. My heart literally hurt. It was so good because it could not be, but like we all wanted to it to happen. Anyways, I binged Fleabag last weekend and tbh it turned me into an emotional void. EDIT: I am still obsessed with this relationship and now have watched season two three times tops.

The Reynolds Pamphlet: A book with a twist that you did not see coming

No spoilers again pals. I honestly hate when people marked books as having a twist. If I am expecting a twist, I am looking for a twist on EVERY PAGE. I will tell you a book with twists that I DID see coming which would be The Wife Between Us.

Non- Stop: A series you marathoned

I read Percy Jackson for the first time in a week during a Spring Break when I was in high school (The first five books). I also binged the Hunger Games in less than a week.

Satisfied: Favorite book with multiple POVs

Cassandra Clare is really good at writing multiple POVs so probably Lord of Shadows.

Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story: A book/series you feel will be remembered throughout history

Six of Crows perhaps? Especially with the Netflix show happening? I hope The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo goes on to be remembered forever because love that one.

Those were the original questions, but I made a few of my own because why not.

Wait for It: A book that was worth the wait

Runaway by Meg Cabot. I remember finishing Being Nikki and thinking the next book was out already…I was very wrong and had to wait a whole year. My tween self was not happy.

Alexander Hamilton: A main character you really like

I love Sean and Puck from The Scorpio Races.

Say No To This: A character that made a decision that angered you

Honestly so many characters in romance novels at about 80%. I get that it is the way that stories flow, but yikes I hate when characters have a struggle at this point. Especially if it results in the ending being rushed.
