WEEKLY TAG: WWW Wednesday

I wasn’t planning on doing another one of these so soon, but I realized the release date for the book I was going to review, is more than a month off and I thought it would be best to save it for a later date. Anyways, I’ve been reading a lot lately and it’s been surprisingly varied. (yay!)

This tag hosted on Taking on a World of Words, and it’s super easy to do. Just answer the three W’s.

The Three W’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

I just started A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder today, but I’m already way into it! The MC, Pip, is trying to solve a inconclusive missing persons case that occurred in her town 5 years ago, and absolutely shook the community. I haven’t gotten very far yet, but Pip’s personality is already my favorite thing and I’m excited to see how her investigation evolves. So far this book very much gives me a Truly Devious vibe. I also appreciate the extra effort that the audiobook producers put in with all the additional sound effects. It really makes the story tangible.

Just Finished:

Ever since I created the Hate-to-Love Romance Rec Quiz for Romance Week, I’ve really wanted to reread the favorites I recommended. Luckily, my library had the audiobook formats for The Hating Game (review here) and The Unhoneymooners (Tree’s review here) and I swiped them up. I binged The Unhoneymooners in under a day, and managed to get my boyfriend to listen The Hating Game with me! (Spoiler: He liked it, but not as much as RW&RB. lol.)

Up Next:

So, this pick was a total cosmic coincidence. The backstory is that I watched the 2004 movie a million times as a kid and recently made my boyfriend watch it for the first time. Then when I was at the library last week, I happened to see The Stepford Wives on the shelf, and was surprised to find out the movie had been adapted from a book. So of course I checked it out. I’m quite looking forward to comparing it with the movie! It’s also less than 200 pages, so I figured it wouldn’t be a strenuous read.

Happy reading! What are you binging?

xoxo, Bree
