So Bree usually posts on Wednesday, but has a lot going on & since I have never done this tag before, I figured I would give it a go!
This tag hosted on Taking on a World of Words, and it’s super easy to do. Just answer the three W’s.
The Three W’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:
I am currently reading Truth or Beard by Penny Reid. I am about 13% of the way done. It is a well written, sexy, new adult romance. I am not sure how I feel about it yet, but am enjoying it enough to continue with the book. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this series and I hope it gets a bit better because we are sitting at about a 3 star rating right now. (I recently started my Kindle Unlimited trial so I am reading alll the romances, also DNFing a lot of them, BUT IF YOU HAVE KU RECS LEAVE THEM IN THE COMMENTS PLS!). Okay there are seven books in this series. What have I started.
Just Finished:
I just finished Save Yourself by Cameron Esposito. I do not rate memoirs anymore, but I really enjoyed it! She discusses her realizing her sexuality, her coming out, her relationships, her career, her family, Catholicism, and more. I have not listened to or watched and of her comedy, but was still able to enjoy this. This would be a great book to pick up for Pride Month (starting v soon!).
*Thank you to the publisher for a copy in exchange for an honest review*
Up Next:
I do not know what I am going to start next! I’ve been on a big romance kick, but a lot of them have been kind of meh so maybe I won’t read a romance next? I am hoping so start the first Lumberjanes graphic novel, Beware the Kitten Holy because I got it from the library. I am not the biggest graphic novel fan, but I am slowly easing into them, I actually put a hold on this graphic novel pre pandemic for my YA Fiction class, but then the library closed and I did not get it until two weeks after the class ended. It’s fine it all worked out I guess and now I have this book to read? If you cannot tell I am a huge mood reader so I just go with whatever I’m feeling when I finish a book. I also might be in a slump, but shh don’t tell anyone!
Thanks for reading!
xoxo, Tree
I’m not the biggest graphic novel person but seem to be making my way into them! This one looks cute! I hope you like it.

I saw a presentation on graphic novels which made me realize how versatile they are, we just have to get used to the format first!
Hope you find some you enjoy!

Yes, it’s a different pace and a change but I’ve found some great ones! Saga has been my favorite so far!

Have you read the Texting series by Teagan Hunter? I read the first two books in the series on KU and they’re a lot of fun. 🙂
I also read Truth or Beard because of KU and gave it a 3. Hopefully you have a better experience than I did 😛

Hmmm maybe I’ll DNF it, I might give it one more try and then if I’m not feeling it set it aside for now.
I’ll have to try that series! Thanks for the rec!
