READING CHALLENGE: ARC August TBRs

Hello we suck at TBRs, but WE ARE TRYING OKAY.

Bree participated in this challenge last year (see her post here) and we tried to read ARCs in April (see our wrap up here). But since we always have too many ARCs to handle, we figured we would give it another go for ARC August 2020 (and maybe chip away at them a little).

Bree:

I’ve been saying “I need to catch up on ARCs” so much this year, that’s it’s now my personal mantra (cries). Anyways, I really enjoyed participating in this reading challenge last year, even though I didn’t exactly stick to my TBR (surprise surprise). So, this year I’m aiming more towards just getting as many ARCs read as possible, rather than forcing myself to stick to a list (and spurring myself into a reading slump again *cough cough* June & July). But, here are the books I would love to dive into this month if my mood reader brain behaves!

Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power (I’m a little late on this one)
You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria
You Have a Match by Emma Lord (“buddy” reading with Tree)
The Switch by Beth O’Leary (audiobook)
Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur
This is All Your Fault by Aminah Mae Safi (in the middle of this one right now)

Tree:

So I tend to read romance arcs the quickest which is why three of these are romance…Let’s see if I can stick to a TBR. Honestly half the time I even forget I have a TBR so I see this going badly. I wrote my TBR on a sticky note by my computer so I guess I won’t have that excuse…

Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett
Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur (debut!!)
Ties that Tether by Jane Igharo
You have a Match by Emma Lord
Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots
Shipped by Angie Hockman

What ARCs are you reading this month?

xoxo, Bree & Tree
