I saw this tag many moons ago on A Little Haze Book Blog (check out their post here) & wanted to give it ago then. I of course forgot about it until I was going through my blog bookmarks on my computer and came across it. I am not sure who created it, so if you know please comment the creator below!
I did not tag anyone, but feel free to consider yourself tagged if you want to participate!
A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
LOL Bree (and others) have been telling me to read The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis for years. Bree even bought me a copy for my birthday a few years ago. It’s literally in my TBR stack right by my bed & I still haven’t picked it up…
A book that’s been on your TBR forever & yet you *still* haven’t picked it up
I have so many books in this category. Puddin’ by Julie Murphy, The Star Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi, Night Film by Marisha Pessl, Kingdom of Souls by Rena Barron, Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng, and these are just the ones I can see while typing this.
A book in a series that you’ve started, but haven’t gotten around to finishing yet
I really need to finish the Shadow & Bone series. I only have the last book (Ruin & Rising) left and I’m pretty sure I read book two at the beginning of 2020 or last year…It just isn’t my favorite compared to Six of Crows.
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read
I am not the biggest fan of classics #SorryNotSorry, but I do really want to read some of Toni Morrison’s works. Are her books considered classics? If not, I do want to read the rest of Jane Austen’s books.
A popular book that is seems everyone but you has read
The rest of The Folk of the Air series. I read book one awhile ago and never got around to picking up books 2 & 3. It definitely isn’t a series that *everyone* has read, but sometimes it feels like it.
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet
I honestly am not sure that I’ve watched something and not read it that I actually want to read. I guess the book that Mean Girls is based on? I believe Mean Girls is based on a self help book for teen girls and I definitely will not read that.
A book that you see all over Instagram, but haven’t picked up yet
Sarah J. Maas’s new book House of Earth & Blood. I’ve seen mixed reviews on this one so who knows if I will actually pick it up, but I hope to. Although, if it is a series maybe I will wait.
Thanks for reading!

Awesome 🙌🙌 I’d also love to read Jane Austen’s books. P.S: Can I do this booktag on my page?
