GUIDE TO: Bookish Holiday Gifts

The holiday season is approaching! I am trying my best to shop local or small for all the people in my life and want to help promote some of my favorite shops!

Y’all should totally check out & support these shops. If you have any favorites, please share them in the comments!

Also, please order early if you want the items to for sure arrive before the holidays. Many small business take some time to get your items out and USPS has been slow during the pandemic. Please be respectful to delays that are outside of their control.

*note* I do not get commissions or anything from any of the shops shared.

BOOKS:

If you are going to buy books this year check out BookShop.org or shop your local independent bookstore. Reminder that I did this post on how to support your local independent bookstores (not all of them require you to spend $$ to).

ETSY SHOPS:

Blade & Brush: Amanda has a collection of political and bookish items ranging from apparel to mugs. I won a giveaway she hosted recent and can’t wait for my ‘cup of Joe’ mug to get here. Screen Shot 2020-11-19 at 1.18.14 PM

Rustic Pages Co: Kat has plenty of bookish and fall aesthetic items. She even has a preset for photos.

OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES:

BookShelf Tees: I am obsessed with this t-shirt, sweatshirt, sticker, & pin shop. Lauren lives in Arizona and homeschools her kids in addition to running her shop. I believe she will be closing for the holidays on December 1st, but you’ll still be able to purchase gift cards.

Hey Atlas Creative: I have been a fan of Cade’s shop since they launched it and have wayyy too many of their stickers, but I mean can you blame me?? But this is the go to shop for gorgeous stickers, notebooks, and more! Plus Cade also co runs a subscription service at The Equinox Box, which looks STUNNING.

BOOK SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES:

Read, Romance Repeat: This is a new romance book subscription from my faves at The Ripped Bodice. Every month you’ll get two romance novels and a small item (like a candle or journal).

Tuma’s Books & Things: This is a book subscription service that focuses on diverse voices, specifically authors of color. They offer five (or more) options each month to choose from and the selection is always great. They also sell used books on the site as well.

NON BOOKISH SHOPS:

Since not everyone on your list is a book lover, here are some of my favorite small businesses that sell other items as well. No photos because this is a book blog after all.

By Bay Jewelry: I honestly am obsessed with these earrings and Abbi is awesome. She is constantly releasing new styles.
Chalk & Leaves: I follow her on Instagram, but she has a gorgeous art style. She has state prints, stickers, golden retriever prints, and more!
KatsCraftyStudio: If you are looking for digital prints this is the perfect shop for you. Kate has plenty of Harry Styles quotes, movie quotes, and tons more
Sleeve Me Alone: This is Bree’s shop and she is selling masks (aka the perfect gift this holiday season). She made me a bunch and I love them.
SydSketch: Another artist with super cute prints. Her style is very whimsical and magical. The shop is closed, but opening soon.
TaylorTreasuresArt: Taylor Swift fans!! Check out these super cute stickers and prints of our fave! FYI Lottie is based in the Netherlands so it will take some time for you to get your items. I’ve bought some stickers from her and I love them.
LulaRocksUK: This shop has super cute enamel pins which are always a cute gift.
Worthwhile Paper: This art style this shop has is right up my alley! They have adorable prints, cards, and other paper goods.
FancyPantsPrintsCo: This artist prints designs on dictionary pages! Super cute.
