All, Weekly tags

I’ve been reading such a weird skew of genres lately, I thought I would do a WWW Wednesday to talk about all the different books I’ve been picking up.

This tag hosted on Taking on a World of Words, and it’s super easy to do. Just answer the three W’s.

The Three W’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

I’m currently reading Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers (check out the blog tour here). The story starts off with a drunken, deliriously happy night in Vegas & the main character, Grace Porter, waking up to a mysterious, disappeared, newly minted wife. Once back in her “perfect” life, she must decide whether or not to seek the mysterious woman out. So far it’s good and I’m enjoying it but I’m waiting for things to start happening, you know? I would like some ooey-gooey romance please.

Just Finished:

As of late, I’ve been on a little bit of a Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki binge, all thanks to my recent read of Eva Evergreen, Semi-Magical Witch (review here) and its strong Kiki’s Delivery Service vibes. Anyways, after I worked my way through all my favorite movies, I found out that my library has the audiobooks for all three of the Howl’s Moving Castle books, so I immediately checked out the first one to reread. I’m excited to continue the story into the next two books, since I haven’t picked them up before. Oh and my library also happens to have the book that spawned the Kiki’s Delivery Service movie, so I will be checking that out very soon to read as well.

Up Next:

I’ve kept my eye on all of Courtney Summers releases, since Sadie was one of the first books we reviewed on this blog (review here & book-inspired photo shoot here). Anyway her new book, The Project, seems just as dark and grungy of a read and I’m excited to differ my reading tastes from my normal HEA-heavy reading. Hey, maybe it’s also HEA, and I just don’t know it yet. (Seems unlikely though.)

Happy reading! What are you binging?

xoxo, Bree
