I am not sure how I came across the tag, but I saw in on Spellbound Reads’ blog awhile ago and thought I would give it ago. Make sure to check out their post here.
I’m filling this out on August 14 so possibly some things will have changed!! But, I need to write posts in advance so it is what it is!
LAST BOOK I BOUGHT
I picked up a used copy of Beloved by Toni Morrison while on vacation in Maine. Check out Longfellow Books, an independent bookstore in Portland, Maine. I was hyped to find a copy of one of Morrison’s books that was in good condition and for only $5.
LAST BOOK I RE-READ
I loveeee rereading books! I’ve already reread The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, but didn’t put it on Goodreads (lol), but the last book I reread and actually put it on my Goodreads was Wait for It by Mariana Zapata. Which I reviewed here if you want to see my thoughts. I think this was my third time reading it and I loved it just as much as the first two times.
LAST BOOK I GAVE UP ON
I DNF’d a bunch of kindle unlimited books on by like page 5 so I didn’t even keep track of them, but I DNF’d The Undying by Anne Boyer, not because it was bad, but it was way too heavy for me. It follows her diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and it was just too much for me to read at this point in my life. I always appreciate when people share their real experiences and don’t sugarcoat them, but dang this was hard to read and I had to set it down for my own sake.
LAST BOOK I SAID I READ BUT DIDN’T
I don’t really do this. But I may have implied that I read Because of Winn-Dixie when I was talking to a guy I had a crush on. Look. I’m not proud of this lol.
LAST BOOK I WROTE IN THE MARGINS OF
I don’t really annotate books. I tend to underline and star passages. The last one I did this for was Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney.
LAST BOOK THAT I HAD SIGNED
I ordered myself a signed copy of One Last Stop because Red, White, & Royal Blue is one of my faves. I used Bree’s birthday as an excuse to buy us both copies. I still have not read this one yet hehe.
LAST BOOK I LOST
I don’t lose books. But, I did lend a copy of Eat, Pray, Love to a college roommate and never got it back so it’s lost to time.
LAST BOOK I HAD TO REPLACE
I typically don’t have to replace books, but my copy of I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella got mold (yeah I know, gross gross gross) so I bought a used copy at one of my local bookstores.
LAST BOOK I ARGUED OVER
I don’t think I’ve argued over a book in a hot second.
LAST BOOK YOU COULDN’T FIND
I am unsure what this question means. Like books in my personal library? Or books that I could not find at a library or bookstore that I wanted to read? I will say I really want my library to buy A Million Junes by Emily Henry and they haven’t yet so I might just end up buying a copy.
This is a really random collection of books which I guess means these questions were pretty good!
Got any book tag that I absolutely have to do? Tag me in them! Or post them in the comments.
Thanks for reading!

Heeey! I’m glad you enjoyed this tag and ended up giving it a try! I’m sure it was fun answering the questions and seeing how varied (in terms of books, genres, etc) the answers were! Thanks for tagging me!
