BOOK TAG: Do I Have That Book? Book Tag

I saw this on Abyssal Librarian‘s page and wanted to give it a go! Check out their post here.

I have a decent memory and own a lot of books so let’s go!

1) Do you have a book with deckled edges?

Yup! The Winner’s Curse series all have deckled edges. Also, this series is excellent.

2) Do I have a book with three or more people on the cover? 

All the books in the Burn for Burn series have three girls on the cover. I own the first one!

3) Do you have a book based on another fictional story?

Yes, I own all of the Once Upon a Con series which are all based on fairy tales. See my review for The Princess & the Fangirl here and Bookish & the Beast here.

4) Do you have a book with a title 10 letters long?

omg I found one and then I deleted the note in my phone thinking I had already entered it. Ooops. Not sure if this was my original pick, but one of my faves, Just One Day, has 10 letters!

5) Do you have a book with a title that starts and ends with the same letter?

Yes! I just bought a copy of Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne from my library’s book shop. I love the lovely purple cover!

6) Do you have a mass market paperback book?

Yup! I own a lot of historical romances in mass market.

7) Do you have a book written by an author using a pen name?

A lot of romance authors write with pen names. I know Tessa Dare uses a pen name and I own a few of her books, my favorite being a signed copy of The Duchess Deal. She stops by The Ripped Bodice & signs books quarterly so if you’re interested, check them out here.

8) Do you have a book with a character’s name in the title?

This isn’t a book tag of mine if I don’t mention a Taylor Jenkins Reid book. But, I own three copies of Daisy Jones & the Six (review). Don’t ask lol.

9) Do you have a book with two maps in it?

Uhhh probbaly? I used to read more fantasy than I do now and if I’m being honest I don’t look at maps in the books. Even though they are gorgeous!

10) Do you have a book that was turned into a TV show?

I own a lot of the Grishaverse books which have been turned into a show.

11) Do you have a book written by someone who was originally famous for something else? (ie. a celebrity, athlete, politician, TV personality, etc.)

I own both of Mindy Kaling’s books.

12) Do you have a book with a clock on the cover?

Another one I don’t think I own? Tbh I might? But, I did not go through all my books. Do you know of any books with clocks on the cover that are semi recent?

13) Do you have a poetry book?

I went through a modern poetry phase a few years ago so yes I own a lot. See our recommendations here.

14) Do you have a book with an award stamp on it?

Yes, The Hate You Give.

15) Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you?

Ooooh this is a good one. My initials are TE. I actually do not think I do? Last names starting with E are not that common apparently!

16) Do you have a book of short stories?

I don’t really read short stories, but I just bought a used copy of Blackout which I’m very excited about.

17) Do you have a book that is between 500 and 510 pages long?

If you count the pages in the back with pictures (which technically don’t have page numbers) I think The Fountains of Silence counts. Goodreads says it has 512, but whatever.

18) Do you have a book that was turned into a movie?

I own Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and I actually own the movie tie in edition.

19) Do you have a graphic novel?

Yes! I only own four but I am obsessed with them all. But, I’m so happy I own both the Check, Please books finally! See my review here.

20) Do you have a book written by two or more authors?

I own a few Christina Lauren books and they are an author duo. I own The Unhoneymooners (review) and Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating.
