It feels like I haven’t done a WWW Wednesday in so long, but was March really all that long ago?? I should definitely not be the judge of that. Anyways, I’ve been burning through books this year at a pace that is honestly unheard of for me. *small happy squeal* But the side effect of that is I have too many books to talk about…literally always.
This tag hosted on Taking on a World of Words, and it’s super easy to do. Just answer the three W’s.
The Three W’s are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading:
After reading some of Oliva Dade’s newer titles, I added a bunch of her backlist to my TBR (and also a bunch of holds to my library card). The first one of them to come through is Teach Me, and while it took me a minute to really get into it, I am thoroughly invested now. I mean, forced proximity, but it’s two teachers that have to cohabitate in a classroom? Yess! Anyways I am about 25% in now and very excited to see what will happen next. Olivia Dade’s books are just straight craic*.

Just Finished:
So the last WWW Wednesday I wrote (in March), had this typed in it: [my mental dialogue rn: “No. You can’t reasonably read them a third time this soon.” “But, what if…I did?”] Basically I’m saying I managed to hold myself off on a third read of these absolute cinnamon roll books for 2 months! I deserve a reward. Just kidding. Getting to read the Check, Please books by Ngozi Ukazu again IS the REWARD. Anyways Bitty & Jack, and All of The Boys, absolutely fill my heart with joy and I can’t wait to hoist them onto more peoples TBRs. I also just finished Loveless by Alice Oseman and I have nothing but happy, squishy, feelings about it, but I’m saving them for our Favorites of the Month post at the end of June. (Yes, I’m literally calling it this early.)
Up Next:
You know when you open your email and you think you’ve gotten another email telling you all about an upcoming release…that you’ve literally had on your TBR since it was slightly hinted at by the author (and added to GR by some obsessed fan*)? Well that is was I thought I had in my inbox, BUT!! IT WAS ACTUALLY A BEAUTIFUL GIFT FROM THE PUBLISHING GODS!! Which is to say, I now have an eARC of Ship Wrecked by Olivia Dade in my possession and it is absolutely the only thing my last brain cell has wanted to think about all week. Tree and I loved book 1 in this series, Spoiler Alert (review here) and I went absolutely feral for book 2, All the Feels (review here). I cannot wait to witness what Romantic Shenanigans will occur this time!
*definitely not you
Happy reading! What have you been binging?
xoxo, Bree
