READING CHALLENGE: 20 Books by Black Women

Last year, Melanated Reader on IG started this challenge which basically is just an encouragement to read 20 books by Black women throughout the year. She is doing 20 books by Black Folx in 2023 if you want to participate!

I also tried to read books from 20 different Black women so there are a few bonus ones at the end. These are listed in the order I read them.

Also this is delayed because the Harper Collins Union was on strike for over 60 days for a fair contract. Many of the books in this post are Harper Collins titles so I didn’t want to share this until they had negotiated a fair contract. Thankfully they finally have a new contract so I am finally sharing this.
